ABOUT

Golf and Bourbon is for everyone who loves golf and the occasional bourbon. Most of the focus will be on golf, but I’ll look into neat and melted whiskeys in our hands from time to time. For those looking for in-depth reviews of golf courses, golf equipment or the tours, please look elsewhere. This site is for those who enjoy the game, but know that all is not perfect in the sport and are committed to learning more and working to make it better for all.

As for bourbon, if you’re looking for reviews of the latest offerings from the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection or how to procure a bottle of Michter’s 20, also please look elsewhere. There won’t be any tasting references to cardboard shavings or sulfur, just honest thoughts on bourbons that everyone should be able to buy and drink. And I speak from experience, as I’ve been down the rabbit hole of standing in line for releases and buying bourbon nosing kits, but I’ve made it (mostly) out to the other side and believe it’s a much better place for most bourbon lovers to be.

Overall, I love the direction in which golf is heading and believe that there is still room for voices like mine. And while talking about golf, I’d also love to help reset the bourbon craze and turn it back to those who just really enjoy a good whiskey drink.
